Ounces to Grams
This is almost always a kitchen conversion, and the ounce meant is the avoirdupois ounce: 28.349523125 grams exactly, one sixteenth of a pound.
Be careful of the trap. A fluid ounce is a measure of VOLUME and is not this unit at all — an ounce of flour and a fluid ounce of milk are different kinds of quantity. If your recipe says "fl oz", you want the volume converter, not this page.
