Privacy Policy

This site is a static website. It has no accounts and no comment system, and it sets no cookies of its own.

The tools. Every converter and calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. What you type into one is never sent anywhere, never logged and never stored. There is no upload, no server-side processing and no record that you used it at all.

The contact form. If you send the form on the contact page, the name, email address and message you type are emailed to me and stored so I can reply. They are not sold, shared or used for marketing. The form also records the time the page loaded and checks a hidden field, purely to reject automated submissions.

Analytics. Aggregate visit statistics are collected through Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. These are not linked to you personally, and in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland they are collected only if you agreed to it at the prompt described above.

Advertising. This site carries advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners set cookies and use similar technologies to choose and measure the ads you see, which may include using your earlier visits to this and other sites. You can review and change what Google collects at Google's ad settings, and opting out of personalised advertising through aboutads.info is honoured here. The site also publishes an ads.txt file, which is a public declaration of who is authorised to sell advertising on the domain and is not itself a tracker. Consent, in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland. If you are in one of those places you are asked before any advertising or analytics cookie is set, and nothing is set until you answer. The prompt is Google's own certified consent tool and your choice is stored by Google rather than by this site -- which also means it is the place to change your mind. Both the advertising above and the analytics below follow that one answer. Changes. This page is updated when what the site does changes, rather than on a schedule.
