Grams to Ounces
A gram is about 0.03527 ounces, or put usefully the other way round, an ounce is a little over 28 grams — so a 100g bar of chocolate is a shade over 3.5oz.
European recipes are written in grams and American ones in ounces, which is where this conversion usually comes from. For dry ingredients the conversion is straightforward. For anything measured by cups it is not: a cup of flour and a cup of sugar weigh different amounts, and no unit converter can tell you which you meant.
