The ratio

Everything here follows from one rule: one day in the outside world is one year inside the chamber, a ratio of 365 to 1.

So an hour outside is a little over fifteen days inside. A minute outside is just over six hours inside. And the canonical two-day training stint is two years of subjective time, which is why anyone using it comes out noticeably older than everyone waiting.

A note on the arithmetic

The year is taken as 365 days, which is the figure the source material uses and the one anybody checking this will have used too. Adding a leap day would change every answer by a fraction of a per cent and disagree with every other reference, which is a poor trade for accuracy nobody asked for.

There is a second rule in the source - that a person may only spend two days of outside time inside across their life - but that is a limit rather than a conversion, so it is not modelled here.
